The 169.254 IP Address is usually a communication problem with the ISP modem/router communicating with the wireless router(if any). Power cycling the devices(see below) usually correct this.

The wi-fi network properties is already set as infomed but still not showing the SSID (NETWORK NAME) and does not connect to it. in my case i use all network ssid disabled as per a litle more security....

Wilson, Try the system at a WiFi hotspot and see if it connects. Try to connect with no security and see if you can connect. If yes, then with no security, hide the network and see if it connects. Rick
