ashley119, Avast should not be a problem. Hit the Windows key and the x keys at the same time, control panel, network and sharing center. Click on your connection, click on properties. Look for TCP/IPv4 and TCP/IPv6 and click on properties for both. Have your settings match mine. If that does not

I've tried to obtain both automatically. It fails. I've tried putting in the DNS/IP address from my iphone and ipad as those work on the hot spot and those, while consistent on my iphone/pad, does not keep a connection on my PC.

Its the same drivers as the Microsoft Update Catalog, you managed to get them as you were connected to the Ethernet. Intel ended support for the product so Microsoft natively supported it.

I am able to add the device and have its icon shown in the list of devices but the pairing seems not to complete on the mouse's side as it doesn't leave the discovery mode. The driver of the mouse doesn't install either.

I recently bought a set of Sharper Image SBT2002 bluetooth speakers. They work fine with my iPhone, but I can't get my Inspiron 15 laptop to connect. The operating system is Windows 8.1. It pairs just fine, but when I click connect, the connect button grays out for a while, then comes back.

I have the same laptop (Inspiron 14 5000 series) and it worked great for the first month, but now when I turn it on after a shutdown, 50% of the time it can't connect to my WiFi unless I disable the WiFi adaptor and re-enable. I'm an IT Tech so I've tried just about everything.

I had to replace my e6410 hard drive and reinstall Windows 7 professional (64bit). Trouble is, as usual, reinstalling the Dell secret sauce is not easy for me. I can not find any wireless drivers at all, had to manually find and install the etherner driver.
